Batidas are refreshingly delicious cocktails made with cachaca (white rum made with sugar cane), fruit juice, and sweetened condensed milk or coconut milk. Depending on the fruit juice used, they come in various flavours, with passion fruit (maracuja) and coconut (coco) being especially popular.
I know many of you reading this will have something to celebrate on June 8th, so I figured that now would be a good time to share a favourite recipe of mine so you can celebrate your Brazilian real estate investment with a Brazilian staple!
So, for those of you who make the savvy decision to invest alongside me and many others, here is the recipe so you can make your own at home!
To make a Batida de Coco, combine 2 oz of cachaca (or white rum), 1 cup of coconut milk, 1/4 cup of sweetened condensed milk, and a handful of ice cubes in a blender. Blend the mixture until smooth and frothy. Once blended, pour the batida into a chilled glass and garnish it with some shredded coconut for that final touch. Now, sit back and enjoy while you reflect on the fact that you have just made a savvy financial decision that has officially set you on the path toward monthly turn-key rental income!
As I mentioned, we have already built and sold a number of homes to buyers from all over the world, mainly Canadians and Americans. In fact, here is a photo of some of the duplexes that are getting very close to completion. The balconies were completed last week, and the final pieces of exterior siding were installed, too.
As I mentioned in a previous edition of Brazil Beachfront, things really start to appear complete in the final months of the development process, so I am very glad to be sharing this image that shows how far along things have really come…. to think less than two years ago, this development site didn’t even have roads, electricity or water wells always amazing me. I think you will agree with me when I say it’s fascinating to see these projects come together!

The country’s burgeoning tourism industry is attracting global attention from foreign investors keen on capitalizing on its growth potential. This has led to increased demand for luxury accommodations and beachfront properties.
